Bob and Blossom have designed a top for young babies that really sum up the new addition to the family – ‘the boss’ navy blue tee shirt is gorgeous and has the boss written in pretty large letters making many passers-by smile.

Babies wearing body suits and tee-shirts can wear soft sweat pants too – just make sure that the sweatpants have no hidden seams that will distress baby. It is actually surprising how many clothes designers for babies have really not thought through the fact that babies spend a great deal of their time lying on their backs, so the last thing babies want to feel is poppers. And the last thing you really want to do is to try and do up poppers at the back of baby clothes when you’re having to help baby sit up!

Although the trousers from No Added Sugar don’t have poppers, they are really easy to slip off baby so it’s not a disadvantage when changing a nappy.

Sometimes it’s the really cute clothes you receive from friends that cause the most issue. You need access to a baby’s nappy at all times so anything with poppers where the nappy is really good. If a piece of baby clothing for a newborn does not have poppers there, the advice we can give is don’t get it.
