Jake is 6 years old and has cerebral palsy. But this does not stop him looking cool and having fun. 'Jakes' clothing label is cool and is supported by lots of people. A percentage of Jakes profits go to Jake to help provide for his future.

Jakes was launched in 2002 by his parents Abigail and Jonathan who run Soho's Plum boutique. It all started with a couple of adult t-shirt designs, and then due to demand they introduced a cool range for kids. After production costs Jakes gives a percentage of all sales to kids with special needs. Jakes celebrity supporters include David and Brooklyn Beckham, Sadie Frost and Geri Halliwell.

Jake goes to a mainstream school, even though he cannot speak. He uses Makaton, a form of sign language, which his friends are learning too, and they include him in everything they do.

Jake walks with a walking frame although lately he has been trying to walk unaided, which is amazing, but he does and always will need a constant adult support.

Jake is very happy and has a great social life, not letting his disabilities get the better of him.

Many people including celebrities have and are supporting Jakes, helping Jakes to help children like him.

Through out the years Jakes has helped and donated clothing to individual children for fund raising events to help towards equipment and every day living. A trust fund has been set up for Jake as he will never be able to work and or live alone; he will always need constant adult support.

Jakes baby range is great fun with tee shirt and baby vest slogans saying ‘May cause irritation’ to ‘Give me what I want now’. All tee shirts and baby vests are made from 100 per cent cotton with wide necks and they wash well.

Jake’s Hawaian shirt is gorgeous in blue and white. He’s made it for toddlers aged from one year to five year old mini adults.
